(sorry about having a horse background insted of a ferret one, but I havn't run acrost a ferret background yet...)

Alrighty, here's a little background info about me and my ferrets...

Well, I had wanted a ferret for years before I got one. I read any ferret book or magazine I could get my hands on. When I could be I would go see ferrets and be around them as much as possable. I finally was able to get a ferret of my own after wanting one for Ummm, 4 or so years. My first ferret was from a rescue shelter, she was approx. 2 years old when I got her. i've had her about 3 years. She's a real pale silver mitt, if she was much lighter she'd be a DEW (which stands for Dark-Eyed-White).

It Looks Like Rizzo!
My next ferret {Rizzo The Fur-Rat, Named after Rizzo the rat on the muppets, My Faorite} I got was a rescue, the people we bought him from were keeping him OUTSIDE (you don't keep a ferret outside! and -if- you do {which you shouldn't they want to be inside with you!} they have to have proper shelter. Which Rizzo Didn't have He was being kept in a wire cage with a torn up hammock and a shirt in there that were soking wet, the had him in a lean-to that leaked and he had rain and snow leaking in his cage. They were feeding him ROTTED dog food. And his water was just awful, it was Green, it had rotted dog food in it, and algie, the smell was horrid. The guy said his boys didn't like him and didn't want to play with him, and his wife didn't like him so they put him outside. Rizzo is a Cinnamon Sable, and he's a sweetie.

The next ferret I ended up with was Gidget, I got her a few months later. When I got her they told me she was 2 years old and nothing was wrong with her she just "lost all her hair" her hair loss was due to her having adrinal cancer, AND the fact that she was 7 or 8 years old, NOT 2. She only weighed about half a pound, and had a bad diet, when she got here she quickly adapted to the new better quality ferret diet. We didn't have Gidgy very long before she died. She was with us for about a month. I'm glad before she died she was able to be with her own kind, was actually allowed out of her cage and actually got to do what ferrets do best... PLAY!!! Before we got her, I don't think they ever played with her, she acted like she didn't know what to do when we first let her with the other ferrets and let her play, but she caught on quickly, and she had the cutest Dook (sound a ferret makes) It was almost like she was making up for Lost time. As to her color, I think she was a sable when she had some fur, she had a tiny bit of fur come back before she took a turn for the worst and Passed.

Weasel War Dancin' Ferret Looks a Lot Like Storm Trooper!

A Week after I got Gidget I got Storm Trooper. Stormy is my biggest ferret, with Gidgy being the smallest Storm took to Gidget right away and served as her protector making sure the other ferrets didn't get too rough with her, making sure she was taken care of. Stormy is my 'Ferret Ambassidor' he LOVES every one, he loves being petted and played with, and loves meeting new people. He loves going to town on his harness and leash, and walking around looking adoriable, and showing people ferrets ARN'T these mean horrible creatures who are going to come in at night, eat your children and rob you blind... wellllll Robbing you blind is debateable ;) Storm is a Panda Bear color, he's got a mask on his face though. so techincally he might fall in another catigory, but other then that he has the panda coloration.

Well there's a basic over view of my ferrets. There will be more info later and actual pictures of my ferrets on here as soon as I get a chance. Check Back Ofton...
